I request PM Modi to call an emergency meeting to free the entire North India from pollution: Gopal Rai
New DelhiAam Aadmi Party leader Gopal Rai held a press conference. During this, he said, for the last three days, the blanket of pollution has spread across North India including UP, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar. People are having trouble breathing. GRAP-4 rules have been implemented in Delhi. To stop the pollution spread by vehicles, vehicles were also banned but the pollution is not reducing. Now there is a need to provide artificial rain in Delhi and for this I am again writing a letter to the Union Environment Minister today. He should call a meeting of all the concerned departments of the Center and IIT Kanpur and initiative should be taken to make artificial rain.

Along with this, last year the scientists of IIT Kanpur advised us about Artificial Rain. Last year, time was less but this year we started preparations in August itself to deal with serious situations. We wrote letters to the Central Government and the Union Environment Minister since August to deal with the emergency situation in Delhi and to provide artificial rain, but they neither responded to these letters nor called any meeting.
Gopal Rai said, today a BJP ruled government is sitting at the Centre, which does not even have time to provide relief to the people of North India from pollution. There is no time for the Union Environment Minister to even call a meeting regarding artificial rain. I have written 4 letters to him in this regard but he has not even replied. I request PM Modi to call an emergency meeting to free the entire North India from pollution and provide relief to the people.
