During this, he was directly questioned about the long standing news regarding his relationship with Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. To which Gambhir said, “I am human. I should also be allowed to make mistakes. Like everyone else, a player should also be allowed to make mistakes. In the last 18 months, I must have made mistakes. Gambhir said that he is doing his work honestly and there is no need to clarify on trolling on social media. “As long as I’m doing everything with integrity, as long as I can be honest with everyone in the dressing room and I can look them in the eye and talk to them, I think as long as I’m doing the right thing for my position, that’s what I live by. I don’t need to justify anything that I see on social media,” he said.
