I Want To Talk: Abhishek Bachchan-starrer succumbs at the box office
On November 22, 2024, Abhishek Bachchan’s most recent movie, I Want To Talk, was released. It tells the tale of Arjun Sen, an NRI who survived cancer, and was directed by Shoojit Sircar. Although the public has responded favorably to Abhishek Bachchan’s performance, the new film hasn’t been able to take off at the box office.
Incumbent earnings
I Want To Talk failed to establish itself at the box office and had a poor debut of Rs 20 lakh. In just five days, Abhishek Bachchan’s most recent film has brought in a total of barely Rs 1.20 crore net in India. Shoojit Sircar’s helmer made Rs 15 lakh net on Day 5. Even if the most recent earnings were comparable to Day 4, the film’s fate will remain unchanged because of the dismissal.

Sircar’s first choice wasn’t Abhishek Bachchan
Director Shoojit Sircar has previously stated that Abhishek Bachchan was not his first choice to play the lead in I Want To Talk in a podcast interview with Cyrus Says. Instead, Sircar wanted to use the late, great actor Irrfan Khan. The director revealed that he had Irrfan in mind when he developed the narrative for his most recent picture.
The film stars Johnny Lever, Pearl Dey, and Jayant Kriplani which is set to air on Amazon Prime Video.
