I was not eligible for home loan: Shreyas Talpade told how he got his first house in Mumbai through a letter from Shahrukh Khan

Shreyas Talpade: Actor Shreyas Talpade recently shared a heart-touching anecdote from his struggling days. He told that when he wanted to buy his first house in Mumbai, he was not able to get a home loan from the bank. In such difficult times, Shahrukh Khan and Farah Khan helped him, due to which his dream could be fulfilled.

The bank had refused to give the loan
During a conversation in Farah Khan’s cooking vlog, Shreyas Talpade told that he had approached the bank for a home loan, but his loan eligibility was not being fulfilled. For this reason his application was not moving forward.

Shreyas told that a female officer present in the bank asked him in which film he was working. When he told that he is a part of ‘Om Shanti Om’, the officer also inquired about the cast and director of the film.

Shahrukh Khan’s letter became support

Shreyas told that the bank officer asked him to bring a recommendation letter from Shahrukh Khan. After this he called Farah Khan.

Farah got that letter from Shahrukh Khan within two days. According to Shreyas, his home loan was approved the same evening and he was able to buy his first house in Mumbai.

‘Om Shanti Om’ became a memorable film
‘Om Shanti Om’, released in 2007, was directed by Farah Khan. Shahrukh Khan played the lead role in the film, while Deepika Padukone made her Bollywood debut with this film. Arjun Rampal and Shreyas Talpade were also important parts of this film. After release, the film achieved great success at the box office.

Will be seen in these films
Talking about work front, Shreyas Talpade was recently seen in ‘Welcome to the Jungle’. In the coming time, he will be seen in films like ‘The India Story’, ‘The Game of Chameleon’ and ‘Golmaal 5’.
