“I will mix it in the soil…” CM Yogi from Lakhimpur Kheri again gave a direct warning to the mafia.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, during his visit to Lakhimpur Kheri on Saturday, took a historic decision and announced to change the name of Miyanpur village. Now this village will be known as ‘Ravindranagar’. Addressing the public meeting, CM Yogi said that this change has been made in respect of Gurudev. Taking a dig at the previous governments, he said that the village was named Miyanpur for vote bank politics, whereas not even a single ‘Mian’ lived there.
Gift of development and land ownership
The Chief Minister not only changed the name, but also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 213 development projects to change the image of the district. During a grand program organized at Chandan Chowki, ‘Bhoumik Adhikar Patra’ (ownership rights) of thousands of hectares of land was handed over to 4356 families of Tharu community and 2350 displaced families from Eastern Uttar Pradesh. The CM clearly said that now neither the forest department nor the police will harass these families.
‘Gola Gokarnath Corridor’ for Mahadev devotees
CM Yogi made another big announcement to promote religious tourism. He told that a grand and divine corridor of Lord Bholenath will be built in Gola Gokarnath. With this, this area will emerge as a major pilgrimage site on the lines of Kashi Vishwanath. Along with this, the Chief Minister assured that all the fake cases registered against innocent people of Tharu tribe during the Samajwadi Party government will be withdrawn.
Chief Minister lashed out at opposition and Pakistan
CM Yogi Adityanath looked quite aggressive during his address. Taking on SP, Congress and TMC, he said that when Hindus and Sikhs are persecuted, these parties maintain silence. Referring to Pakistan, he said that Hindus were displaced there due to their sins, but the previous Congress governments did not give them their rights. Today’s ‘double engine’ government is giving justice to every oppressed class.
Direct warning given to mafia
CM Yogi proudly said that this event is not just about giving land papers, but is a journey from self-reliance to self-respect. He congratulated the descendants of Maharana Pratap (Tharu community) on getting their rights. In the end, he warned the criminals in a stern tone that UP is now mafia and goon free. He said in a clear tone, “Whoever dares to become a mafia, should be prepared to meet the dust.”
