Khesari gave a blunt reply to the speculations about joining BJP. He clearly said that he is not joining any political party. He says that politics does not suit his nature because it is not easy to work there by speaking the truth.
Khesari said, “Let me remain an artist. In politics one has to lie and I am a person who speaks the truth. There is no place for people like me there.” He also admitted that he had contested elections earlier, but he felt that there was no respect for truth there. Therefore now he wants to concentrate completely on his music and acting.
