In this letter he has appealed to declare his foreign income for the year 2024-2025. He has told that his foreign income is about Rs 22,410 crore (about 2.7 billion dollars), on which he wants to pay tax of Rs 7,640 crore. He has said that he has earned this income from his two foreign companies in the financial year 2024-2025.

In the letter to Sitharaman, Sukesh revealed that his overseas businesses, LS Holdings International and Speed ​​Gaming Corporation, are registered in Nevada, USA and British Virgin Islands. These companies deal in online-offline gaming and betting. These businesses have been operational since 2016 and have a turnover of $2.70 billion in 2024. The letter also states that the business is also active in the US, Spain, UK, Dubai and Hong Kong. Sukesh also said that he is ready to settle all the income tax recovery proceedings and appeals pending against him in India.

Allegation of money laundering of Rs 200 crore

Notorious swindler Sukesh is accused of running a huge extortion racket in which he allegedly swindled hundreds of crores of rupees from high-profile business personalities and wealthy individuals under various pretexts. Sukesh is the main accused in a money laundering case of Rs 200 crore. This case is related to the fraud of Rs 200 crore from the wives of former Ranbaxy promoters Shivinder Singh and Malvinder Singh.
