IAS Transfer: 19 IAS officers transferred from one place to another in the state, transfer order issued, see full list

Once again a major change has been seen in the bureaucracy of Tamil Nadu. 19 IAS officers have been transferred. The Secretary of the Transport Department has been changed. Apart from this, there has been a change in the charge of many posts including Additional Special Secretary, Commissioner, Director. Some have also been assigned additional charges. The order related to transfer and appointment has been issued on July 15.

Thiru Pradeep Yadav, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Information Technology and Digital Services, has been appointed to the post of Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. Dr. Atul Anand has been transferred and given the responsibility of the post of Additional Chief Secretary, Information Technology and Digital Services Department. Thiru Dheeraj Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary/Commissioner, Institute of Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Higher Education. TMT E Sundarvalli has been appointed as Secretary, Public Works and Rehabilitation Department.

Who is the new Secretary of Transport Department?

Thiru Nirmal Raj has been appointed as Secretary, Transport Department. Before this he was working as Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce. He is going to replace Dr M Vallar, who has been transferred and given the responsibility of the post of Labor Commissioner. Whereas TMT E Sundarvalli has been appointed as Secretary, Public and Rehabilitation Department.

These IAS officers also got new assignments

The responsibility of the post of Art and Culture Director has been handed over to TMT Mageshwari Ravi Kumar. TMT R Gajalakshmi Land Administration Commissioner has been appointed to the post of Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise. TMC Sigi Thomas Vaidyan has been appointed to the post of Principal Secretary or Commissioner Transport and Road Safety. Dr. Umanath has been given the responsibility of the post of Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce. TMT D Ratna has been appointed to the post of Additional Commissioner Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Chennai. Dr. R Vrinda Devi has been posted as Director Social Welfare.
