IBSAT 2024 registration ends today; exam from December 28
New Delhi: The ICFAI Business School (IBS) will close the ICFAI Business Studies Aptitude Test (IBSAT) 2024 registration process today, December 23. Interested and eligible candidates who have not applied till now can fill out the IBSAT application form 2024 through the official website, general.ibsindia.org.
The entrance exam is scheduled to be held in remote-proctored test mode on December 28 and December 29. The IBSAT 2024 result is expected to be announced in the first week of January 2025. Following this, the selection briefing will take place from January 10 to January 19, 2025. The selection process, including group discussions and personal interviews, will be conducted from February 15 to February 24, 2025.
IBSAT exam pattern
The IBSAT paper will have a total of 140 questions divided into four sections- verbal ability with 50 questions, data adequacy and data interpretation with 30 questions, reading comprehension with 30 questions and quantitative techniques comprising 30 questions. The paper will be only in the English language.
As per the IBSAT marking scheme, for every correct answer, four marks will be awarded. There are no negative marks for the incorrect attempt.
IBS selection process
The IBS selection process involves two stages-
- Stage 1: The first stage is the shortlist of candidates based on the IBSAT and other national-level MBA entrance exams.
- Stage 2: The second stage involves micro-presentation and personal interaction rounds. The selected candidates need to appear for these rounds conducted by the IBSAT colleges. Based on the IBSAT score and performance in the presentation and PI round the final merit list will be prepared.
IBSAT scholarship
ICFAI business school offers 10 crore scholarships to 500 qualified candidates with each worth Rs 2 lakh. Based on the IBSAT score, the scholarships are awarded.
IBSAT exam is held every year for admission to post-graduate management courses offered by IBS. The exam assesses the quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytical reasoning, and reading comprehension.
