Sports Desk: ICC has made its intentions clear regarding the Champions Trophy. ICC will conduct the Champions Trophy tournament in hybrid model. For which the Cricket Committee has approved. Today in the ICC meeting it became clear that the tournament will be played in hybrid model only. Now the schedule of the tournament will also be released shortly.

ICC said that from 2024 to 2027, ICC tournaments against India and Pakistan will be played at neutral venues. Along with this it was also decided that the competition between India and Pakistan will no longer take place in Pakistan. However, the rest of the teams will go to Pakistan to play the matches while the Indian team will play its matches in Dubai.

The ICC said that the schedule of next year's Champions Trophy in Pakistan will be confirmed soon. The ICC said that Pakistan will host the 2028 Women's T20 World Cup. However, the Indian women's team will not go to Pakistan in this tournament also. That means this tournament will also be on hybrid model.

Cricket Australia can host ICC women's tournaments from 2029 to 2031. However, it remains to be seen which tournament Australia gets to host. The schedule for the Champions Trophy 2025 will be confirmed soon, with Pakistan aiming to retain the title they won in 2017.

Apart from host Pakistan, teams from Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, New Zealand and South Africa will participate in this eight-team event. India had refused to travel to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy to be held in February–March due to security concerns. India has not played any match in Pakistan since the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks.
