New Delhi: In the final of T20 World Cup 2026, India defeated New Zealand by 96 runs and won the title for the second consecutive time. The tournament had a grand finale and along with it the International Cricket Council (ICC) has also announced the ‘Team of the Tournament’.

In the team announced by ICC, Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan and Indian wicketkeeper batsman Sanju Samson have been given the responsibility of opening. Sahibzada Farhan was the highest run-scorer in this tournament, hence his selection was considered quite certain. At the same time, Sanju Samson also made a place in the team with his good performance.
