The two-time champion West Indies cricket team defeated the Zimbabwe national cricket team by a margin of 107 runs in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 Super 8 stage. This win also became the biggest win in terms of runs recorded so far in the tournament.

Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza won the toss and decided to bowl first. West Indies made 254 runs losing 6 wickets in 20 overs, the second highest score in the history of the tournament. Brandon King was out after scoring 9 runs, Captain Shay Hope was out after scoring 14 runs. Later Shimron Hetmyer and Rovman Powell made a partnership of 122 runs for the third wicket. Hetmyer completed his half-century in 19 balls and scored 85 runs in 34 balls, which included 7 fours and 7 sixes. Powell scored 59 runs in 35 balls, which included 4 fours and 4 sixes. Sherfane Rutherford scored 31 runs without being out in 13 balls. Romario Shepherd and Jason Holder added extra runs and the team crossed 250 runs. Blessing Bani took 2 wickets for Zimbabwe.

While chasing the target of 254 runs, Zimbabwe lost wickets continuously. Tadivanashay Marumani scored the initial runs. The pressure increased with the loss of three wickets in the power play. Dian Myers scored 28 runs in 15 balls. Captain Raza and Tony Munyonga shared a partnership of 42 runs. At one time the score was 94/4 and 9 wickets fell before reaching 103 runs. Brad Evans and Richard Nagara added 44 runs for the last wicket. Evans scored 42 runs, which included 5 sixers. Zimbabwe team was all out for 147 runs.
