New Delhi: T20 World Cup 2026 was played hosted by India and Sri Lanka. India captured the title by defeating New Zealand in the final. A total of 20 teams took part in the T-20 World Cup 2026. India, England, South Africa and New Zealand had made it to the semi-finals. After the end of World Cup 2026, ICC has announced the prize money.
Champion India has received around Rs 24.28 crore. While runner-up New Zealand has received Rs 13.09 crore. Apart from this, South Africa has received Rs 9.25 crore, while England has received Rs 8.96 crore. Apart from this, Pakistan’s journey ended in Super 8 itself. Pakistan has received Rs 4.52 crore from ICC. Whereas Italy, Netherlands, UAE and Nepal have received Rs 2.36 crore.
