ICC Reveals Women’s Player of the Month Nominees for November 2025
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has revealed the nominees for the Women’s Player of the Month for November 2025, which include India’s Shafali Verma, Thailand’s Thipatcha Putthawong and UAE’s Esha Oza.
India opener Shafali Verma, who made a crucial 87-run knock and bagged two wickets in the finals of the Women’s ODI World Cup 2025, where India won their maiden ICC title.
Meanwhile, Thipatcha Putthawong and Esha Oza were both standout performers in the inaugural ICC Women’s Emerging Nations Trophy held in Bangkok.
Shafali Verma (India)
The Indian opener Shafali Verma, who joined India’s campaign for the knockout stages in the Women’s World Cup 2025, made a standout performance in the finals, making an 87-run knock and picking two wickets, which inspired her side to their maiden title in Mumbai.
She made the knock at the strike rate of 111.53 to set up India’s title win at Mumbai. She also returned with a bowling return of 2/36 in seven overs, claiming the wickets of Sune Luus and Marizanne Kapp.
He all-rounder performance in the final showcased her prowess in those pressure moments.
Thipatcha Putthawong (Thailand)
The left-arm spinner Thipatcha Putthawong had a brilliant run, winning the Women’s Emerging Nations Trophy and completed as the joint leading wicket taker in the tournament with 15 wickets.

She proved to be destructive against left-hand batters with a standout performance in the tournament finals, where she took four crucial wickets against Scotland at an economy of 4.25. Her impressive performance guided Thailand’s title-winning campaign.
Esha Oza (UAE)
UAE all-rounder Esha Oza showcased her match-winning pedigree during the Women’s Emerging Nations Trophy.
She compiled 187 runs at a strike rate of 137.50 in seven games and accelerated innings with equal authority. With the ball, she claimed seven wickets at an average of 18.14 to underline her all-round value.

Her standout performance came in the UAE’s final fixture against Namibia, where she scored 68 runs and took two wickets as she helped the side to secure a 28-run victory.
Apart from this, Simon Harmer (South Africa) and Taijul Islam (Bangladesh), and all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz (Pakistan) have been nominated for the ICC Men’s Player of the Month for November 2025.
Player of the Month voting process
The Nominees from either category are shortlisted based on their performance by the last day of the month. The Candidates are shortlisted and voted on by the ICC Voting Academy and fans around the World.
The ICC Voting Academy comprises renowned journalists, former players, and ICC Hall of Fame members. They submit their votes by email, which accounts for 90% of the voting members.
Fans registered with the ICC can also vote via the ICC website at icc-cricket.com/awards, which accounts for the remaining 10 per cent. Winners will be announced every second Monday of the month.
