ICC will not make any changes in the schedule

However, the ICC is firm on its stand and has refused any change in the schedule. As per the current schedule, Bangladesh is in Group C, which includes Italy, New Zealand, West Indies and Nepal. According to the schedule, Bangladesh has to play its three group matches at the historic Eden Gardens in Kolkata, while the final group match will be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

ICC also rejected the proposal to change group with Ireland

According to sources, ICC has also rejected the proposal of group swap between Bangladesh and Ireland, under which Bangladesh was to be sent to play the opening match in Sri Lanka. ICC also assured BCB that there is no security threat to the Bangladeshi team in India. Now all eyes are on January 21, when Bangladesh has to give its final decision.
