ICC Women's ODI Team of the Year included India's 3, 2-2 players from South Africa and Australia

Delhi: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the best women's ODI team of 2024, in which two Indian players have got a place. The team consists of India's star batter Smriti Mandhana and star all -rounder Deepti Sharma. Apart from India, three each from England, two each of Australia and South Africa, while Sri Lanka and West Indies have got a place in this team.

The year 2024 was excellent for Mandhana. The 28 -year -old batter scored 747 runs in 13 ODIs and she was the highest run -scorer of 2024. Due to her brilliant performance, she has also been nominated for the best female ODI player of the year. She started the year against Australia, but after this, playing against South Africa, she scored two centuries and was the best player of the series.

On the other hand, Deepti also performed brilliantly in 2024. He scored 186 runs in 13 matches and took 24 wickets. He made it to the team on the basis of his all -round game.

The captaincy of the ICC Women's ODI Team of the Year has been handed over to Laura Volvard of South Africa, who will open with Mandhana. The team consists of experienced players like Chamari Attapattu, Haley Mathews, and Amy Jones. All -rounders include Marajane Cap, Ashley Gardner, and Annabel Sadherland. England's Sophie Eclastone and Kate Cross have also made it to the team.
