IDF attacks IRGC fuel hubs in Tehran, attempts to damage Iranian military infrastructure
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has announced that the Israeli Air Force (IAF) has carried out targeted strikes on several Iranian military targets in the capital Tehran. “Several fuel storage plants of the IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps) have been attacked in Tehran,” according to the military spokesman.
The operation was guided by IDF intelligence, with the military targeting locations they considered to be centers of resource distribution to various armed units. The IDF said the attack caused deep damage to the military infrastructure of the Iranian “terrorist regime.”
In response, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) has announced the launch of Operation ‘True Promise 4’. This operation is a coordinated effort of missile and drone attacks on American and Israeli targets. The IRGC said the attack was carried out by new solid-fuel missile technology, using ‘Kheibar-Shekan’ missiles, which provide complete accuracy in reaching the target.
The IRGC said that during the operation, military targets in Israel’s northern regions were targeted, particularly the Israeli military base in the city of Haifa. Apart from this, drone attacks were also carried out on the positions of American military personnel. Iranian forces also targeted facilities associated with the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain, including a command center at Salmon Port and support sites for unmanned marine vehicles.
The IRGC also alleged that Israeli authorities have detained civilians in the occupied territories in the north and central regions, acting as human shields to protect its military personnel. Along with this, sounds of emergency sirens are continuously being heard in this area.
Iran clarified that its forces are ready to escalate this conflict for a long period and they are fully prepared for precise attacks on American troops. The IRGC said that under Operation ‘True Promise 4’, hundreds of ballistic missile and suicide drone attacks have been carried out so far, targeting Israel’s major cities and technological centers.
