idli: Make idli from leftover rice from night, very easy way

Italian Ingredients

Leftover rice – 1.5 cups

Semolina – 1 cup

Curd – 1 cup

Baking Soda – 1/2 tsp

Salt – as per taste

Water – as required

To make delicious idli for breakfast, first put one and a half cup of cooked rice in a blender and add one cup of water to it.

Now blend the rice well and prepare a smooth paste.

Now take out the prepared rice batter in a big bowl and keep it aside.

Now take a pan and add semolina to it and heat it on low flame.

Roast the semolina until it turns light pink and becomes aromatic. Now take out the semolina in a vessel and let it cool. After this, add one cup curd and a little salt to the semolina and mix well. Add this mixture to the rice batter and mix well.

– Beat this entire solution well for 3-4 minutes so that the batter becomes very light. After this, cover the vessel and keep the solution aside for 20 minutes. In this time the batter will swell a little.

– Add water as required in the mixture and beat it once again. – After this add a little baking powder and mix.

Now pour some oil in the vessel for making idli and add the prepared batter and steam the idli on medium flame for about 15 minutes.

In this time the idli will be completely cooked. – Now take out the cooked idli in a vessel.
