If a passenger took a photo or made a video at Hindon Airport, then the airlines will be held accountable… Know why this decision was taken
Uttar Pradesh:Now new rules have been implemented for passengers traveling from Hindon Airport. In view of security reasons, passengers will not be allowed to capture photographs or videos of the airbase and runway on mobile phones. If any passenger violates this rule, its responsibility will be fixed on the concerned airlines company.
Decision taken after Air Force’s objection
This decision has been taken after recent incidents in which some passengers had taken photographs of the airbase and runway and shared them on social media. Indian Air Force officials had expressed serious objection to these incidents. After this, the security agencies and the administration together decided to adopt a strict stance on this issue.
The airport is connected to the air force station
Airport security in-charge ACP Shweta Kumari said that Hindon Airport is connected to the Air Force Station, hence the security here is very sensitive. For this reason, it has been decided that after boarding the flight, no passenger will take photos or videos outside the window of the plane. Clear instructions have been given to all concerned airlines companies in this regard.
Accountability of airlines will be fixed
Under the new instructions, if a passenger takes a picture or video outside the window, then the responsibility of the airline company will be fixed for this. Airlines will have to ensure that passengers are informed about the rules and made to follow them. This will further strengthen the security system.
Also keep an eye on sharing on social media
The administration has also made it clear that if any person circulates these pictures or videos on the internet media, then necessary action will be taken against him. Officials say that the purpose of this step is not to harass passengers, but to prevent misuse of information in sensitive areas related to national security.
