If Chinese Manjha is used in kite flying, there will be punishment, order of complete ban in Bhopal implemented with immediate effect.
Bhopal. There has been a complete ban on the use of Chinese Manjha, its sale, purchase and storage during kite flying in the limits of Bhopal city, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. This order has come into effect with immediate effect. Police Commissioner Harinarayan Chari Mishra has issued this order under Section 163 (2) of the Indian Civil Security Code (BNSS) 2023.
According to the order, using Chinese Manjha in any way in Bhopal city will be a punishable offence. Strict action will be taken by the police against anyone who is caught with Chinese Manjha. The police administration has taken this decision keeping in mind the safety of birds, pedestrians and two-wheeler drivers.
Every year, many serious accidents have been reported due to Chinese Manjha, in which many people have suffered fatal injuries and in many cases even lost their lives. Bhopal Police has appealed to shopkeepers and common citizens to use only safe and standard vehicles. Also, if Chinese Manjha is seen being sold, stored or used anywhere, then immediately inform the police so that action can be taken in time.
