If Hindus unite, will the situation in Bengal change? Mohan Bhagwat gave a big statement on Babri Masjid
Bengal: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat expressed his opinion on many important issues during a program in Kolkata. He described the effort to build a mosque on the lines of Babri Masjid in West Bengal as a political conspiracy and stressed on Hindu unity.
Mohan Bhagwat’s opinion on construction of Babri Masjid
On the laying of the foundation stone of Babri Masjid in Beldanga by suspended Trinamool Congress MLA Humayun Kabir in Murshidabad district of West Bengal, Mohan Bhagwat said that the old dispute had ended after the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya.
Now an attempt is being made to restart that fight by building Babri Masjid again. All this is happening for vote politics. Neither Hindus nor Muslims will benefit from this.
He clearly said that this should not happen. Bhagwat reminded that the Ram temple issue was resolved by the court after a long time and the temple was built. It is wrong to create a new controversy now.
Hindu unity and situation in Bengal
Mohan Bhagwat said in the context of Bengal that if the Hindu society stands united, the situation here can change quickly. He stressed that political change is not his job, but the Sangh works for social change. Hindus should remain organized and strong.

Status of Hindus in Bangladesh
Bhagwat mentioned the atrocities being committed on Hindus in Bangladesh. Hindus are in minority there and the situation is very difficult. Nevertheless, the Hindus there should maintain unity. Hindus all over the world should help them. The Indian government should also pay attention to this and take necessary steps.
concept of hindu nation
On the question of Hindu nation, Bhagwat said that India has always been a Hindu nation. This is as true as the sun rising from the east. Anyone who considers India as his motherland and respects Indian culture is a Hindu.
It does not matter whether words are added to the Constitution or not. Caste system is not the identity of Hindutva. It is clear from these statements of Mohan Bhagwat that he is talking about Hindu unity, social harmony and staying away from political conspiracies.
