If I stay in Delhi for just 2 days, I get infection, shocking statement of Nitin Gadkari!
Till now only the opposition parties were cornering the government on the terrible pollution of Delhi, but now the big leaders of BJP themselves have started speaking openly.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari gave a big statement on pollution in a program. He said that he gets infection after staying in the country’s capital for two days.
Infection occurs in Delhi in two days
At the launch program of senior journalist Uday Mahurkar’s book ‘My Idea of Nation First: Redefining Unalloyed Nationalism’, Gadkari said that today the biggest form of nationalism is to increase the country’s exports and reduce imports. He further said, “I barely stay in Delhi for two days and get an infection. Why is Delhi struggling so much with pollution?”
40 percent pollution is our responsibility
Nitin Gadkari admitted, “I am the Transport Minister, 40 percent pollution is because of us… because of fossil fuel. We are spending Rs 22 lakh crore on importing fossil fuel and increasing pollution. What kind of nationalism is this?” Expressing regret, he said that people are not ready to adopt eco-friendly technology. Can’t we make a self-reliant India with alternative fuels and biofuels?
Not every Muslim is a terrorist
In another important point, Gadkari said that it is wrong to say that every Muslim is a terrorist. There should be gradations in how radical and poisonous someone is. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam is our icon. The number of people like Dr. Kalam will have to be increased. Education will have to be provided to them. I often see what Muslims do, run tea shops and puncture shops and due to lack of education the population is increasing.
Hindutva is liberal and tolerant
Gadkari said that Hindu-Muslim issues in the country are the result of Congress’s vote bank politics. Secularism means justice for all, but policies brought for vote bank created the problem. Our culture is not communal and casteist. Hindutva is liberal and tolerant.
India was and will remain secular
Echoing the views of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Gadkari said, “India is a secular country. It was secular and will remain secular. This is not because of BJP or RSS. It is because of Indian culture, Hindu culture and Sanatan culture, which teaches us to wish for the welfare of the entire world.”
