If ships are attacked again, the consequences will be very bad, Donald Trump’s strict warning to Iran

Washington DC. US President Donald Trump has given a strong warning to Iran. He said that if Iran continued attacking merchant ships, US military action would intensify. Trump wrote on the social media platform ‘Truth Social’ that this action is revenge for the attacks on ships by Iran. He warned that if this happened again, the consequences would be very bad. Trump also shared a picture after the US attacks in Chabahar, Iran.

Declaration of end of ceasefire

Trump has announced the end of the ceasefire between the two countries. He said that Iran attacked several ships in the Strait of Hormuz, in response to which America took this action. Trump said, every time they attack us, we will attack them 20 times. Trump spoke to reporters aboard Air Force One while returning from the NATO summit in Ankara, Turkey. He told that Iran has approached him for an agreement. However, Trump questioned whether Iran was worth a deal.

  • Major action of US Army

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced on the social media platform ‘X’ that the US military has launched additional strikes against Iran. The attacks are aimed at reducing Iran’s ability to threaten freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. The military said the US was holding Iran responsible for its aggression against merchant ships and civilian personnel.

Attack on more than 80 targets

Earlier on July 7, the US Army had attacked more than 80 Iranian targets with precision weapons. The attacks targeted Iran’s air defense systems, command-and-control networks, coastal radar sites and missile capabilities. Apart from this, more than 60 small boats of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) were also targeted. The US alleges that Iran had targeted three merchant ships named ‘M/T Al Reqaiyat’ of Marshall Islands, ‘M/T Wedyan’ of Saudi Arabia and ‘M/T Cyprus Prosperity’ of Liberia. The army has called it a direct violation of the ceasefire.
