Bureau Prayagraj. District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma on Saturday flagged off 08 publicity vehicles from the Collectorate premises for the promotion of Farmer Registry, which will do the work of publicity for making Farmer ID of all the farmers in the development blocks and various Gram Panchayats of all the eight tehsils of the district. To create Farmer Registry/ID, regional employees of Revenue, Agriculture, Cooperative, Panchayati Raj, Food Department, Sahaj Jan Seva Kendras, Supply Departments are present in all the villages of the district and are working to create Farmer Registry/ID of farmers.
There is an appeal to all the farmers of the district to present at their nearest CSC public service center or Panchayat building with Aadhaar card and Khatauni and get the Farmer Registry/ID made so that they can get the benefits of all the schemes run by the government. If the Farmer Registry is not made, then the facilities of PM Kisan, fertilizer, seeds, ration, KCC, agricultural equipment will not be available. Therefore, farmer registration must be done before March 15, 2026. But at many Panchayat buildings neither Panchayat assistants nor accountants and secretaries come, in such a situation it is a big question from where the farmers should get registered.
