If they don’t agree, we’ll blow up all the bridges and power plants… Trump warns Iran before Islamabad talks

New Delhi: Ahead of the start of the second round of ceasefire talks in Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad, US President Donald Trump has warned Iran. He has stated that if Iran rejects the proposed agreement, the US will attack its bridges and power plants. In a lengthy post on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump accused Iran of violating the ceasefire in the Strait of Hormuz.

Donald Trump claimed that Iran fired in the Strait of Hormuz, which he described as a “complete violation” of the ceasefire. He said ships belonging to France and Britain were targeted in the attack, although this has not been independently confirmed. He wrote in his post, “Iran fired in the Strait of Hormuz yesterday, a complete violation of our ceasefire agreement. Multiple shots were fired toward a French ship and a cargo ship belonging to the United Kingdom.”

Trump also said that Iran’s actions are working against itself and strengthening the US-led blockade. He said, “They’re helping us without knowing it, and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz is costing them about $500 million a day.” He warned that if Iran doesn’t accept a just and fair agreement, the US will take large-scale military action.

Donald Trump said in his post, “Many ships are leaving Texas, Louisiana, and Alaska in the US to load cargo. This is all because of the IRGC, which always wants to appear powerful. We are offering a very fair and equitable deal, and hope they will accept it. If they don’t, the US will destroy every single power plant and bridge in Iran. No more ‘softness’! If they don’t compromise, it will be my honor to do what is necessary. This is what other presidents should have done over the past 47 years. It’s time to destroy Iran’s killing machine!”

Vance, Witkop and Kushner will go to Islamabad
Donald Trump confirmed that US representatives are going to Islamabad for talks. He said in his post, “My representatives are going to Islamabad, Pakistan, they will reach there by tomorrow evening.” Earlier, in an interview given to the New York Post, he told that Vice President JD Vance will lead the US delegation. Special envoy Steve Witkop and Jared Kushner will reach Islamabad with him on Monday night. Let us tell you that the Strait of Hormuz is one of the most important sea routes in the world. About 20 percent of the world’s oil and gas is transported through this route. Any kind of tension here affects the global economy.
