A new video of senior BJP leader and state Urban Administration Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, known for his outspoken and sometimes harsh statements in the politics of Madhya Pradesh, is spreading like wildfire on social media. Actually, his latest statement is about a section of the Muslim community, which has given rise to a new uproar in the political circles.

It is being told that this entire matter is from Indore. While giving a speech from the stage during a program organized in Indore Assembly-1, Vijayvargiya said something which is now being discussed everywhere. He said in a clear and strict tone that if some people consider him ‘infidel’, then they should also boycott the facilities and schemes provided by the government.

Inside story of Kailash Vijayvargiya’s ‘kafir’ statement

Actually, the Minister was referring to the development works in his assembly constituency. During this time he gave the example of a new road being built there. According to the local people, he told the crowd that a new road is being built here and our Hindu brothers and Muslim brothers also live in this area. But many Muslim brothers call us infidels. The matter did not end here, he further gave advice and said that if we are infidels, then do not walk on the road we have built.

It is not hidden from anyone how popular ‘Ladli Brahmin’ and ‘Ladli Lakshmi’ schemes are in Madhya Pradesh. While mentioning these ambitious schemes in his speech, Vijayvargiya directly said that if you consider us as infidels and money from these government schemes is coming to your house, then you should not even take that money. Ever since this statement went viral, rumors about the beginning of a war of words between the opposition and the party have intensified.

‘Vote or not, we do not discriminate’

However, immediately after his controversial statement, Kailash Vijayvargiya also emphasized on the fair working style of the government. He clarified that the Bharatiya Janata Party government has never discriminated against any citizen. Reiterating the basic mantra of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas’, he called it his and his government’s policy.

From the stage itself, he made clear his connection with the public and his dedication towards work. He said, “Whether you vote for us or not, our main job is to serve the public.” He said in a very interesting manner that if the public votes, they will work more wholeheartedly, and even if they do not vote, they will definitely do development work.
