How to make Tandoori Momos at home:Most people are crazy about momos. The madness is to such an extent that many people eat momos daily or even three to four times a week. There are many types of momos like steam momos, tandoori momos, gravy momos and fried momos. Today we are going to tell you how to make Tandoori Momos. Which you can tie at home also.

Ingredients required to make Tandoori Veg:
– Flour: 1 cup
– Salt: 1/4 tsp
– Oil: 1 tsp
– Water: to knead the dough
– Cabbage (grated): 1 cup
– Carrot (grated): 1/2 cup
– Onion (finely chopped): 1
– Ginger-garlic paste: 1 tsp
– Soy sauce: 1 tsp
– Black pepper powder: 1/4 tsp
– Salt: as per taste
– Oil: 1 tablespoon (for stuffing)
For tandoori marination:
– Curd: 1/2 cup
– Turmeric powder: 1/4 tsp
– Red chilli powder: 1 tsp
– Coriander powder: 1 tsp
– Garam Masala: 1/2 tsp
– Kasuri Methi: 1/2 tsp (roasted and crushed)
– Chaat masala: 1/2 tsp
– Ginger-garlic paste: 1 tsp
– Mustard oil: 1 tablespoon
– Lemon juice: 1 tsp
– Salt: as per taste
How to make Tandoori Veg
1. Mix flour, salt and oil and knead a soft dough and keep it covered for 20 minutes.
2. Heat oil in a pan for the filling.
3. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry, then add onion, carrot and cabbage.
4. Add soy sauce, salt and black pepper powder.
5. Fry it for 2-3 minutes and let it cool.
6. Make small balls from the dough, roll into thin rotis, place the filling, and shape into momos.
7. Steam the prepared momos for 10-12 minutes.
2. Tandoori Marination:
1. Take curd in a vessel and add all the spices (turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, kasoori methi, chaat masala, ginger-garlic paste, mustard oil, lemon juice and salt) in it.
2. Mix it well and prepare a thick paste.
3. Put the steamed momos in this marinade and keep it in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes.
3. Cooking Tandoori Momos:
1. In Tandoor or Oven:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
2. Place the marinated momos in an oven tray.
3. Bake for 10-12 minutes, turn occasionally and brush some oil on top.
4. Cook the momos until they are light golden and smoky like charcoal.
2. On the pan:
1. Heat a non-stick pan.
2. Cook the marinated momos with light oil on medium flame.
3. Fry until golden and crisp on all sides.
4. Serving:
– Serve tandoori momos with onion and lemon slices.
– Serve them with spicy red chutney or mint chutney.
