Mahakaleshwar is going on New Year, so know the changes made
Mahakal Temple: On New Year, lakhs of devotees are going to reach Baba Mahakaleshwar Temple to worship Mahakal. This possibility was already being expressed. To maintain the crowd of devotees and maintain order, a review meeting was held by the temple complex and administrative officials. In which a big change has been made regarding Bhasma Aarti. According to an estimate, 10 lakh devotees can come to Ujjain to visit Mahakal from 25th December to 2nd January.
Changes made regarding Bhasma Aarti
In view of the crowd of devotees, the general devotee will pass through the temple parking lot and reach Facility Center-1 through Nandi Gate, from where he will go to Tunnel-1 Ganesh Mandapam. After which the devotees will go out through the emergency door after having darshan of Mahakal. If there is a huge crowd of devotees together, then along with Ganesh Mandapam, new tunnel and exit ramp will also be opened near Facility Center-1.

Special preparations for new year in Mahakaleshwar
Through which devotees will be able to visit Mahaka comfortably. At the same time, in view of the crowd, the time of Bhasma Aarti has been changed and now this Aarti will be held at 4.15 in the morning. To make the darshan of the devotees coming to the Mahakal temple easier, proper arrangements have been made for Prasad counter, vehicle parking, drinking water point and first aid.
Possibility of 10 lakh devotees coming on New Year
During this time, the officers will sit in the control room and inspect the CCTV footage. At the same time, the sanctum sanctorum of Kalbhairav temple will remain closed from 25th December to 5th January. These days, along with common people, celebrities and Bollywood stars are constantly seen visiting the gate of Mahakal.
