‘If you are not able to convince the worthless children…’ This statement of CM Yogi went viral on social media after Surya murder case
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is always in the news for his tough attitude and outspoken statements. Recently he attended a big function organized in Badhapur area of Bijnor district. During this, while addressing the public from the stage, he gave a very strong and big statement on the much talked about Surya alias Surya Pratap murder case of Ghaziabad, which is now going viral on social media.
Warning to those who commit crimes under the guise of friendship and relationships
Referring to the Ghaziabad incident, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in clear words that those who commit crimes under the guise of friendship or any other relationship in Uttar Pradesh will not be spared at any cost. While giving advice to the heads of the family, he said that if someone is not able to make his worthless child understand, then understand that he is making a big mistake. The Chief Minister assured that his government’s sympathies are always with the common and innocent citizens, while the government’s strict action against criminals and those who flout the law will continue.
A befitting reply was given to the demand of declaring cow as the national animal.
These days, statements are coming from many Maulvis and Maulanas demanding declaring cow as the national animal. Giving his sharp reaction on this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that cow is not just an ordinary animal, but it is an unbreakable symbol of faith, religion and values of crores of people of the country. He further said that cow is our mother and we have a relation with her from birth to birth. Is any government announcement needed to prove the sacred relationship between mother and son? Does a son have to be taught that she is your mother and you should respect her?
Referring to Indian culture, CM Yogi said that in our country, the same feeling of respect and honor towards mother is also maintained towards mother cow for centuries. Therefore it is not at all appropriate to call a cow just an animal or animal. He sarcastically said that we have given the status of mother to the cow, hence she is a revered mother for us. Those who consider mother cow to be only a four-legged animal, in reality their own thinking is similar to that of an animal.
Expressed anger over the post made on social media on the day of Bakrid
In his aggressive address, CM Yogi also openly mentioned some controversial posts shared on social media on the day of Bakrid festival. He said that during Bakrid, some mischievous people had shared objectionable posts on their social media accounts using pictures of mother cows. Expressing displeasure over this action, he said that such religious gurus and leaders should show the right path to their supporters and followers and make them understand. He warned in a strict tone that any kind of arrogance or playing with the honor of Mother Cow will not be tolerated and those doing so will have to face very serious consequences.
‘Mother Cow is the self-proclaimed national mother of the country’
Rejecting the demand of declaring cow as the national animal, he said that Mother Cow does not need any government document or formal declaration. In his words, “Mother Cow is the self-proclaimed national mother of this country.” Just as no person in the world needs to be told who his real mother is, similarly the importance and glory of Mother Cow also does not need any paper declaration.
Explained the importance to the opponents by giving the example of Mother Ganga.
To explain his argument more easily to the general public, the Chief Minister gave a very beautiful example of Mother Ganga. He said that people all over the country consider Ganga not as a river but as a mother, worship her with reverence and feel proud by calling themselves ‘son of Ganga’. All the major pilgrimages, holy baths and religious rites of India take place on the holy banks of Ganga. In such a situation, till date there has been no need for any government to tell that Ganga is our mother. This faith and feeling is ingrained within people in their values since childhood.
Also expressed the pain of displaced Hindus who came from Pakistan
In the last part of his speech, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also raised the issue of displaced Hindus and other minority families who came to India after being victims of religious persecution and atrocities in Pakistan. Taking aim at the opposing camp, he said that many Maulvis and Maulanas never speak openly about the pain of these displaced people living as refugees across the country. He said that if these people had also raised their voice against the illegal encroachment of properties of those minorities in the neighboring country and the atrocities committed by the fundamentalists there, then it would have been considered a much more positive and true initiative in the society.
