Ingredients to make Potato 65:

– Potatoes (boiled) – 4-5 medium sized
– Oil – for frying
– Gram flour – 2 tablespoons
– Cornflour – 1 tablespoon
– Rice flour – 1 tbsp (optional, for making crispy)
– Red chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
– Turmeric powder – 1/2 teaspoon
– Chaat masala – 1/2 teaspoon
– Celery – 1/2 teaspoon
– salt to taste
– Green chilli (chopped) – 1-2
– Ginger (grated) – 1 teaspoon
– Green coriander (chopped) – to garnish
– Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon

Method of preparation:

1. Preparation of Potato: Boil the potatoes, peel them and cut them into small pieces.

2.Prepare the batter: In a bowl, add gram flour, cornflour, rice flour, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, chaat masala, celery and salt. Add some water to it and make a thick batter (Note: The batter should not be too thin).

3. Add potatoes: Now add the boiled potato pieces to this batter and mix well so that the potato pieces are coated in the batter.

4. Fry: Heat oil in a pan. When the oil is hot, add potato pieces and fry them until they become golden and crisp. Keep in mind that the oil should not be too hot, otherwise the potatoes may burn.

5. Decoration: Once the potatoes are fried, drain them on a kitchen towel to absorb excess oil. Then garnish with chopped green chillies, ginger, lemon juice and green coriander.

6. Serve: Potato 65 is ready! Serve it hot with green chutney or tomato sauce.
