Ingredients needed to make beans

200 grams beans
1 medium size potato
1 medium size tomato
2-3 garlic cloves
3 green chillies
Soak 8-10 almonds overnight
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon asafoetida
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
1/4 teaspoon garam masala
salt as per taste
finely chopped coriander
2 spoons oil

How to make Beans curry

To make bean curry, first wash the beans thoroughly and cut them into big pieces. Now peel the potatoes, wash them well and cut them. Heat the pan, add oil. When the oil becomes hot, add cumin seeds and let it crackle. Now add asafoetida and stir.

Now add potatoes and beans to the pan, add some salt, mix well, cover on medium flame and cook for 7 to 8 minutes. Till then make paste of tomato, green chilli, garlic and almonds.

When the potatoes and beans are fully cooked, add turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt and garam masala and mix well. Also add tomato paste. Now mix the vegetables well and stir for 1 minute. If necessary, add water, cover and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Add chopped coriander to hot vegetable and eat it with paratha or roti.
