New Delhi: A strange incident came to light in Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh, when an employee of the electricity department refused to take petrol from the petrol pump for not following the instructions of wearing a helmet while filling fuel. According to the rules of the district administration, no driver can take petrol without wearing a helmet. This step has been taken with the aim of reducing bike accidents.

When the petrol pump staff refused to give petrol for not wearing a helmet, the angry electricity department employee brutally cut off the electricity to the petrol pump. The lineman climbed a nearby electric pole and broke the power line, due to which the service at the petrol pump came to a standstill and the customers standing in the queue there also had to face problems. CCTV footage of this strange incident has surfaced, in which the lineman can be seen cutting the power line by climbing the pole.

After this video went viral on social media, the administration took cognizance of the situation. When the petrol pump manager contacted higher authorities and the police, power supply was restored within about 20 minutes. This incident not only disrupted the operation of the petrol pump but also caused problems to hundreds of passengers standing in long queues to fill petrol.
