How much is the salary of an umpire?
The umpire’s earnings depend on their grade and the level of the match. BCCI Commonly categorizes household punches into three categories: A, B and C.
- A grade umpires earn approximately ₹40,000 per match.
- B and C category umpires earn approximately ₹30,000 per match.
Earnings increase according to experience, performance and match category. Internationally, this amount is likely to be many times higher.
