IIFA Awards 2024: Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan on Saturday won the Best Actor trophy for his performance in 'Jawaan' at IIFA 2024 in Abu Dhabi. She received the award for her action-packed performance in 'Jawaan', which also starred Deepika Padukone and Vijay Sethupathi.

While receiving his award, Shahrukh touched the feet of filmmaker Mani Ratnam and hugged AR Rahman. This gesture of King Khan once again won the hearts of his fans. Shahrukh returns to the silver screen with Siddharth Anand's 'Pathan' in January 2023.
Shahrukh donned an action avatar in the film and surprised everyone. The film broke many records at the box office and managed to register its name in the list of one of the highest-grossing films in the Indian film industry. This film was Shahrukh's first hit film after a break of four years after giving a series of flop films like 'Zero' and 'Jab Harry Met Sejal'.
After 'Pathan', King Khan returned to theaters with 'Jawaan' in September. Shahrukh was once again seen in action avatar in this film. The film grossed over Rs 1000 crore at the worldwide box office. 'Jawaan' has redefined box office success, enthralled the audience with its entertaining story and stellar performances and rewritten record books along the way.
