New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta declared the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 result today, December 19. The CAT result 2024 can be checked online on the official website, iimcat.ac.in. The valid user ID and password are required to log in and check the result.
The CAT result scorecard contains the name of the candidate, photograph, CAT registration number, category of the candidate, sectional score, overall score, sectional percentile and overall percentile.
How to check CAT 2024 result?
The CAT result is available for download on the official website. Candidates can follow the steps detailed below to check the result-
- Step 1: Go to the CAT official website, iimcat.ac.in
- Step 2: Next, click on the ‘Registered Candidate Login’ link on the homepage.
- Step 3: Enter the CAT user ID and password on the page that appears and submit.
- Step 3: The ‘IIM CAT Score Card 2024’ link will be available.
- Step 4: Click on the scorecard link after which the CAT result 2024 PDF will be displayed.
- Step 5: Check the details mentioned in the CAT scorecard 2024.
- Step 6: Download and take the printout of it for future reference.
What after CAT result declaration?
After the CAT result is announced, those who meet the minimum CAT cut-off marks will be informed by the respective IIMs for further rounds of the selection process. The IIMs will send the interview letters to the selected candidates via email or speed post. The criteria for selecting candidates are different across IIMs. Usually, the selection process includes the Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.
CAT was held on November 24, where 2.93 lakh appeared for the MBA entrance exam. The CAT score will be accepted by 21 IIMs and 91 non-IIMs.
