Im Siwan, Lee Sung Min’s Misaeng to return with a sequel after a decade?
Misaeng was a massive hit with fans urging for a fresh season. Reports state that Misaeng: Incomplete Life’s original webtoon, written by Yoon Tae Ho, has finished its second season. According to an industry insider, the first season’s stars and the show’s production crew will work together to make it a reality.
Along with the dependable team of director Kim Won Seok and screenwriter Jung Yoon Jung, Yoon Tae Ho is reported to have completed the webtoon last year, according to ET News. Leading actors Lee Sung Min, Im Si Wan, Kang So Ra, Kang Ha Neul, Kim Dae Myung, and Byun Yo Han attended a special screening to commemorate the show’s tenth premiere anniversary. Kim Jong Soo, Son Jong Hak, Jung Hee Tae, Jeon Seok Ho, and Oh Min Seok, who are supporting cast members, were also seen at the event.
Additionally, it is reported that Studio Dragon, which purchased the rights to season 2, has been viewing the interest favorably, which has raised hopes.
Misaeng: Incomplete Life, which aired on tvN from October 17 to December 20, 2014, told the tale of Jang Geu Rae, a failing baduk player who finally makes his way into the corporate world as an intern and faces several obstacles before being welcomed into his office. His relationships with his peers—Kang So Ra, Kang Ha Neul, and Byun Yo Han—as well as with his management, Lee Sung Min, and senior, Kim Dae Myung, are depicted in the show. Recently, Im Siwan and Kang Ha Neul starred together in Squid Game 2.
