Ambedkar also praised the important contribution of Brahmins in the making of the Constitution.

Karnataka High Court Justice Krishna S Dixit, while mentioning the important contribution of Brahmins in the making of the Indian Constitution, said that Bhimrao Ambedkar himself had also said this. He said that out of the seven members of the drafting committee that prepared the Constitution, three were Brahmins, who played an important role in the making of the Constitution.

Justice Dixit made this statement at a two-day Brahmin conference organized in Bengaluru on the occasion of the golden jubilee of the All Karnataka Brahmin Mahasabha. He said that if B. N. Had Rao not drafted the Constitution, it would have taken another 25 years to be drafted. He also said that there were three Brahmin members included in the drafting committee—Alladi Krishnaswami Iyengar, N. Gopalaswami Iyengar and B. N. Rao.

Contribution of Brahmins in the making of the Constitution: Ambedkar also recognized
Justice Dixit also said that Bhimrao Ambedkar himself had praised the contribution of Brahmins in the making of the Constitution. Ambedkar had said that if B. N. If Rao had not been in the drafting committee, it would have taken 25 more years to prepare the Constitution.

Respect for Brahmin community
While talking about the contribution of Brahmin society, Justice Dixit said that Brahmin society always respects everyone. He mentioned Ambedkar's teacher Krishnaji, who gave Ambedkar the surname Ambedkar and also helped him financially so that he could complete his studies.

Classification of Vedas and Lord Rama
Justice Dixit said Ved Vyas, who classified the Vedas, was the son of a fisherman and Valmiki, who wrote the Ramayana, belonged to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe. He raised the question whether we look down on Brahmins just because Valmiki, the author of Ramayana, belonged to the Scheduled Caste. Justice Dixit said that we have been worshiping Lord Ram for centuries and his values have also been included in the Constitution.

He also said that the teachings of Ramayana have been given a place in the Constitution, which reflects the contribution of Brahmins and other sections of the society.
