Delhi: The Supreme Court has put a stay on the decision taken on November 20 related to mining in the Aravalli region. The Supreme Court also stayed the decision given by former Chief Justice NV Ramana. After this the question arises whether mining will stop or continue, on which the Supreme Court has sought an answer from the Central Government.
While issuing notice to the Central Government, the court has also sent notice to the Aravalli Range states in this matter. The court has asked the government to give clear information as to what kind of action will be taken regarding mining.
Let us tell you that the Supreme Court said that the government will have to show clarity on this issue and has given instructions to form a high level committee.
Let us tell you that the next hearing of the case will be on January 21, 2026, where the court will seek answers to many questions from the government.
