Dumka: Raids were conducted in hotels in connection with the ongoing JSSC-CGL examination in the state. On one hand, the internet was shut down across the state to prevent the paper from leaking, while on the other hand, raids were conducted in many hotels on Friday night and Saturday night. Police also raided Hotel JD Inn in Dumka, but they did not catch the solver gang but many illegal activities were discovered.

During the raid at Hotel JD Inn, the police found several couples in objectionable situation. Police detained five people including a couple. During interrogation the couples told that they were in a live-in relationship but the reality is that girls are available on a phone in this hotel. During the police raid many people who were doing illegal work were misbehaving on being caught red-handed. Some were calling themselves land dealers and some were calling themselves coal dealers. Police detained three officials of a big company connected with the coal business.

The police released the couple and other people caught in objectionable condition after making them fill a PR bond. The hotel owner was also called to the police station with all the documents and further action is being taken. The police team also raided Hotel Surya Palace along with Hotel JD Inn where liquor was being served illegally in many rooms.
