Bareilly. Pakistani woman was working as a government teacher for 9 years in Bareilly district of UP. He had made a fake residence certificate. She was posted as an assistant government teacher in a primary school. After investigation, the female teacher has been dismissed. There is a stir in the Basic Education Department after the assistant teacher is a Pakistani citizen.

BSA Sanjay Singh said that the woman does not have any concrete evidence related to the citizenship of the country. Whereas it is very important to have these documents for a job. As soon as the verification report was received from Rampur Administration, the service of the teacher has been completely terminated. BSA suspended Shumayla Khan on 3 October 2024. Now on the instructions of BSA, BEO Bhanu Shankar Gangwar has filed the report. Fatehganj West police station is investigating the matter, Shumayla can also be arrested.

Shumayla Khan lives in Fatehganj West. He was appointed as an assistant teacher in Government Primary School, Madhopur in 2015. Based on information from LIU, information was received that the assistant teacher is a Pakistani citizen. Who got the job through forged residence certificate while hiding the facts. During appointment, Shumayla Khan had presented the residence certificate issued from the office of SDM, Sadar, Rampur. After investigation it was found that this certificate is erroneous. Shumayla is actually a Pakistani citizen.

Shumayla was born in Pakistan, completed her education in India.

Shumayla Khan, born in Pakistan, currently lives in Rampur. After birth, she came to India with her mother, but she did not get citizenship here, but her mother got her daughter's birth certificate made here. The female teacher gradually got all the documents made in the country. The date of birth recorded in the PAN card found from him is August 5, 1981. His father's name is written as Sitawat Ali Khan. It was here in Rampur that he studied. After this, he was selected in BTC on the basis of merit. After doing BTC, I got appointment to the post of assistant teacher in 2015. He got his first appointment in the primary school of Madhopur, Fatehganj.

Mother's services have also ended

According to departmental officials, the services of Mahira Akhtar, mother of Shumayla Khan of Rampur, were also terminated on the charges of doing job by hiding Pakistani citizenship. BSA Sanjay Singh said – Complaints were being received regarding the teacher. Documents were asked from the teacher during the initial investigation, but he did not produce them. BSA said that after investigation, the teacher was suspended in May 2024. Now he has been dismissed.

Explanation sought from teacher several times

BSA told Sanjay Singh that during the investigation, it became clear in the report of Tehsildar Sadar, Rampur that Shumayla Khan got the normal residence certificate made by giving wrong information. On this basis his certificate was cancelled. Apart from this, the education department sought clarification from the teacher concerned several times and every time it was confirmed that the certificate was forged. After this he has been suspended from the date of appointment.

Bareilly North SP Mukesh Chandra Mishra said that a case has been registered on the complaint of the Block Education Officer. Mukesh Chandra Mishra said that the Block Education Officer of Fatehganj West has registered a case in this matter. A case has been registered against the accused teacher under serious sections in Fatehganj West Police Station. Necessary action will be taken after deliberation.
