Desk: A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar. Here four members of the same family have committed suicide. The dead included the father and his three minor daughters, whose bodies were found hanging, while two younger sons narrowly escaped.

The matter pertains to Nawalpur Mishraulia village of Rupanpatti Mathurapur Panchayat of Sakra police station area, where the bodies of a father and his three daughters were found hanging. The incident is said to have happened on Sunday night. The deceased has been identified as Amarnath Ram (40). According to the information, Amarnath hanged his three daughters – Radha Kumari (11), Radhika (9) and Shivani (7) inside the house. After this he also tried to hang his two sons Shivam Kumar (6) and Chandan (4). However, somehow the lives of both the children were saved.

It is being said that after being hanged, both the sons were conscious and started crying loudly. Hearing the voices of children, people nearby reached the spot. The villagers were shocked to see the scene inside the house. The children were hurriedly brought down and the police was informed about the incident. By nightfall a huge crowd gathered in the village.
