Suddenly a young woman reached there and started shouting loudly that the boy who had become the groom was already her husband. He immediately called the police helpline 112 and lodged a complaint. The girl told that about 5-6 years ago she had a court marriage with this boy, there was love between them, so they got married in the court. After marriage, they also had a son, who is now 3 years old. The girl tearfully said that her husband now wanted to leave her and the child and marry another girl. He used to threaten and beat them every day.

Mother and daughter asked for justice

The girl’s mother was also present there. She told that her husband had passed away and there were only mother, daughter and a 3 year old small child in the house. He is from a very poor family and has no support. Her son-in-law used to harass her continuously and now he was going to marry again without divorcing her. The mother and daughter pleaded in front of everyone for justice. On the other hand, Sukhdev Abrol, a person from the groom’s side, told the opposite of the whole matter. They said that today is their wedding anniversary, so they had come here with their family to party. No second marriage was taking place. These people wrongly spoiled their chance of happiness.

When the police received a call on 112, this woman from Firozpur complained that her husband was getting married for the second time in a hotel in Moga. Moga Sadar police station in-charge Jatinder Singh reached the spot with his team. He told that on reaching there neither groom nor bride was found. Everyone had run here and there. Now the police is doing a thorough investigation by looking at the CCTV footage and videos of the hotel and legal action will be taken soon. The wedding guests, relatives and hotel staff are all shocked and scared by this whole incident. The victim woman and her family are repeatedly demanding justice, while people on the other side are calling it a false and well-planned drama.
