IND vs SA 1st Inning Highlight: ‘Terror’ of South African batsmen, gave target of 214 runs to India

The second match of the five-match T20 series between India and South Africa was played on Thursday (December 11) at the Maharaja Yadvendra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, New Chandigarh. India won the toss and decided to bowl first, but this decision did not prove to be as expected. South Africa scored a huge score of 213 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs. On behalf of the team, Quinton de Kock batted brilliantly and played a quick inning of 90 runs and maintained pressure on the Indian bowlers.

Disappointing performance of bowlers

Talking about Indian bowling, Arshdeep Singh and Jasprit Bumrah proved to be very expensive. Especially Arshdeep Singh bowled 13 balls in one over, which included many wides, which affected the rhythm of the team. On the other hand, the rest of the bowlers were seen struggling against the aggressive game of South Africa. India did not make any changes in its playing eleven for this match, whereas the South African team made three changes and gave opportunity to Reeza Hendricks, George Linde and Bartman. These changes of South Africa were clearly visible in their performance as the team batted well and set a big target.
