In Sonbhadra, GP submitted a seven-point memorandum to the Prime Minister regarding the problems of journalists.

On Tuesday, through Robertsganj Lok Sabha constituency (80) MP Chhote Lal Kharwar, Rural Journalists Association Uttar Pradesh, under the leadership of Sadar Tehsil President Vinod Kumar Mishra, submitted a seven-point memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanding solution to the problems of journalists working in rural areas and in the district. It has been demanded in the memorandum that Rural Journalists Association Uttar Pradesh is a big organization of the state working in the field of journalism, whose registration number is 1153/86. Journalists working in difficult conditions should be given the benefit of government facilities so that the problems can be solved.
Because the association has accepted the letter number 1484/SU&JSV issued by Director Information and Public Relations Department, Uttar Pradesh to provide recognition to journalists at Tehsil level to improve the living standards of journalists and protect their interests. (Press)-36/2004 dated 19-06-2008 should be amended and an order should be issued to recognize the correspondents of all daily newspapers. To protect the interests of journalists, regular meetings of the Standing Committee should be organized at the district level and a Standing Committee should be formed under the chairmanship of the Divisional Commissioner at the Divisional Headquarters and the Deputy District Magistrate at the Tehsil level, in which the President of the Rural Journalists Association should be made a special invitee member.
To provide health facilities to rural journalists, Ayushman Bharat card and free travel facility in Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation buses should be provided. Two representatives of Rural Journalist Association, Uttar Pradesh should be made members in the Journalist Recognition Committee and Advertisement Recognition Committee formed at the state level. A free building should be provided for the office located at Darulshafa in Lucknow.
A Rural Journalist Commission should be constituted to study and solve the problems of rural journalists. In the disputes arising during the discharge of journalistic responsibilities, orders should be issued to conduct an investigation by a competent gazetted officer before registering an FIR. On this occasion, MP Chhote Lal Khawar said that for the interest of journalists, we will get a solution by talking to the Prime Minister along with the government administration and will put this proposal in the House.
On the toll plaza, MP Shri Kharwar said that this toll plaza comes under the municipality, hence this toll plaza should be removed from here and the instructions of Minister Nitin Gadkari should be followed at the plaza. There should be a meeting hall for journalists to hold meetings. During this, Tehsil President Vinod Kumar Mishra Ramkesh Yadav, Seraj Ahmed, Arpit Dubey, Mustaqeem Khan, Badri Prasad Gautam, Raghavendra Kumar, Awadhesh Gupta, Parmeshwar. Kumar, Brijesh Kumar Singh and other journalists were present.
