In the public hearing/public darshan program organized by Superintendent of Police Abhishek Verma at the police office on Friday, the complaints of citizens from different police station areas of the district were heard with seriousness, sensitivity and complete promptness. During the programme, complaints related to revenue matters and other police related matters were received. The Superintendent of Police, taking personal cognizance of each case, gave clear instructions to the concerned area officers and police station in-charges to ensure fair, transparent and timely disposal.

He directed that all complaints should be investigated qualitatively and factually and the victims should be informed on time about the action taken. A warning was also given of strict action if negligence, delay or harassment is found at any level. Instructions were given to ensure immediate legal action in cases where prompt intervention is necessary.

Jansunwai program is an effective medium to strengthen trust, communication and transparency between the police and the public. Quick, fair and satisfactory solution to the problems of the common people is the top priority of the police.
