New Delhi: Former BJP MLA Kuldeep Sengar, accused in the Unnao rape case, has suffered a major setback. The Supreme Court has stayed the Delhi High Court’s order and ruled that he will remain in prison. The Supreme Court has also issued a notice to Kuldeep Sengar. The Supreme Court’s decision came on a petition filed by the CBI.

Earlier, the Delhi High Court had suspended the life sentence of former MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar in the Unnao rape case. However, the CBI appealed against this decision in the Supreme Court.
