A massive fire suddenly broke out in a two-storey house and a little girl of only two and a half months got caught in it. The innocent child burnt to death. This painful incident happened in Lasri Tok of Koti Gagtadi village, which has shocked the entire area.

Nepali family was living in the house

The owner of the house is Shailendra Chauhan, in which Man Bahadur of Nepali origin lived on rent with his family. A fire suddenly broke out in the evening and engulfed the entire house within no time. The rest of the family somehow came out to save their lives, but the little girl got trapped in the flames. The people and family members nearby kept screaming, but the fire was so terrible that no one could reach the girl. The entire house and all the things kept in it were turned into ashes.

Administration reached the spot, investigation started

As soon as information about the accident was received, the Revenue Department team under the leadership of Naib Tehsildar Khajan Aswal immediately reached the village. The team inspected the damage and started investigating the cause of the fire. It is not yet clear how and why the fire broke out.

People of the area say that fire brigade vehicles do not reach the mountains on time and there are no special arrangements to extinguish the fire. For this reason, even a small fire becomes big and causes huge loss of life and property. The villagers have demanded from the administration that immediate financial assistance should be provided to the victim’s family.
