In view of the heat wave, the District Magistrate conducted a surprise inspection of the District Hospital and Trauma Center

District Magistrate Isha Priya and Joint Magistrate/Sub-District Magistrate Pratiksha Singh conducted a surprise inspection of the Joint District Hospital and Trauma Center and took stock of health services, cleanliness and arrangements made to deal with the heat wave.
During this, the District Magistrate inspected the Emergency, OPD, ARV room, SNCU, Ortho and General wards and Trauma Center etc. in the District Hospital. In view of the heat wave, he inspected ORS, drinking water, water coolers and other necessary medical facilities. He took information about treatment and food arrangements from the patients.
If negligence was found in the cleanliness system in the trauma centre, instructions were given to take action against the concerned cleaning staff. Instructions were given to the Chief Medical Superintendent to install additional fans, benches and coolers in SNCU and general wards for the convenience of patients and attendants.
Along with this, the District Magistrate gave instructions to ensure smooth availability of ORS, drinking water, water coolers and other necessary medical facilities in view of the heat wave and to provide better and quality health services to the patients as per the intention of the government.
Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. PN Yadav and other doctors were present on this occasion.
