Bettiah:- Police Station Officer Chandrashekhar Kumar, posted at Inarwa police station in West Champaran district, has been suspended with immediate effect on charges of negligence in duty. This action was taken on the instructions of Superintendent of Police West Champaran, Bettiah. Today, Tuesday, May 26, around 11:30, a press release has been issued stating that this strict step was taken at the departmental level after serious negligence in the execution of work was revealed. This action of SP has created a stir in the police department.
Officials made it clear that negligence in duty will not be tolerated at any level. The process of departmental inquiry has also been started regarding the matter. This action is being considered important towards maintaining discipline.
