Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Rashtra Prerna Sthal built in the shape of a lotus in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, on December 25. About 1.5 lakh people will witness this grand ceremony. This place will prove to be a center of inspiration for the Prime Minister, MPs, officials and the general public.

Lucknow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the lotus-shaped Rashtra Prerna Sthal built in Basant Kunj Yojana of the capital Lucknow on December 25. About 1.5 lakh people will witness this historic occasion in this program. Preparations for the event are in full swing. LDA VC Prathamesh Kumar has camped at the site itself and has set up a temporary office, while the entire LDA department is currently deployed at Prerna Sthal.

The work of making a huge pandal for the event has been going on for the last one week. Its structure has been ready and now waterproof and attractive tarpaulin will be installed on it. At the same time, the huge stage from which the Prime Minister will address the public is also being decorated and prepared.

Grandeur and preparations of Prerna Sthal

Rashtra Prerna Sthal has been built in the area of ​​Basantkunj scheme. The teams of LDA (Lucknow Development Authority) and Municipal Corporation are working day and night in the preparations of the site. LDA VC Prathamesh Kumar has set up a temporary office at the site itself. The structure of the huge pandal has been prepared for the event and now a waterproof tarpaulin is being installed on it.

A permanent stage is being decorated for Prime Minister Modi to deliver his speech, which is attached to the Museum Block. An amphitheater with a capacity of 3,000 people has been built in front of the stage, in which VVIP guests will sit. Special arrangements for flowers and decorations are also being made.

Museum’s specialties, catering and parking arrangements

Bronze statues of former Prime Ministers Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay and Syama Prasad Mukherjee are installed at the site. The height of each statue is 65 feet and Rs 21 crore has been spent on them. Projection lighting has been arranged on the statues at night, due to which these statues will appear in different colors every night. Besides, a museum has been constructed to preserve the lives and contributions of the three personalities, the finishing work of which is going on at a fast pace.

A large number of people will come from five nearby districts to participate in the event. Arrangements for food and drinks, parking of buses and other vehicles are being made for them. The police and traffic department have prepared a security and traffic plan for the entire route. The site is connected to the Green Corridor, hence the entire Green Corridor from Basant Kunj to Pucca Bridge is being beautified and decorated. LDA has issued additional tenders for painting and clearing bushes in road dividers and surrounding areas.

Prime Minister Modi will arrive at the site by air through three helipads. With this arrangement, there will be no need to close the road, which will provide convenience to the city residents during the event. Tight security arrangements have been made, and all necessary protocols are being kept in mind.
